Dark Giant Horsefly (Tabanus Sudeticus) This is the heaviest fly in Europe it is about 1 inch long, You would not want to get bitten by on of these.

Love days like these
At Pwll Penarth again 3 Otters were seen swimming in front of the first hide
In the afternoon 4 Grass Snakes were seen
Lots of common Frogs
And 1 very large Common Toad
Never thought I would see it again but the Mole was out again this afternoon and managed to get a grab shot this time.
